Feeling the Love

Today was my Grandma's 85th birthday. We went to my grandparent's house to celebrate. It was bitter sweet.
My Grandma has been bedridden since the spring time, and it breaks my heart every time I see her.
She doesn't talk, except for simple words like "yes" or "no". Once in a while she will say "I love you" but I haven't been able to get it out of her.
But, tonight I asked her "Grandma, do you love me?"
and she said "Yes"
Thats all I needed! :]
{It made my week}

Every time I leave their house, it helps me realize what really matters in life. Also, they demonstrate what marriage truly means. My Grandpa treats my Grandma so well, it's almost unreal. He has so much love for her. In January, they will be married for 62 year I believe.
I cannot wait to have a marriage as strong and loving as theirs.
{I can't watch "The Notebook" because it reminds me of my grandparents
and I cry my eyes out}

We sang "Happy Birthday" to my Grandma and it was really nice! She even had some yummy frosting from her cake!

Here are some pictures from my day! Which I literally just came home from about 20 min. ago haha.

Excuse the just rolled out of bed look. Halloween was last night then I had an exam this morning!

The cousins that were able to make it today.

My Momma, sister, Grandpa, and Grandma

My Grandpa. I adore him.

A beautiful desert sunset!
