*30 Days of Blogging* Day Eight


1. Staying Healthy
Since I was little, I was all about being healthy. I am always told the story about how I turned down cake at my cousins birthday party because  "I had too much junk food already". I was probably 5. 
When I first started dating Parker, I was exercising at least 6 times a week. I was on top of it. Then I stopped going to the gym as much, started eating out more, you know how it goes. I gained 10 pounds. I am back down to my original weight, but lost so much muscle tone after my knee injury. But I am happy to say that I am active again, and feel so much better! Seriously! I forgot about how much I like to cook and eat healthy, and to work out. I love a good sweat :]

2. The Ocean
I love everything about the ocean. I really do. I have a slight fear of sharks, but it doesn't stop me from swimming way out into the water. I snorkeled in Catalina in high school, and it was one of the best experiences ever. Even in the freezing cold water, I was amazed with the ocean life below. If I am feeling stressed, I go to the beach. I play volleyball at the beach. I went on my first date with Parker at the beach. My life isn't complete without that big body of water. I am really excited to snorkel in other parts of the water, and would like to get my scuba diving certification.

3. Documenting My Life
I write in my journal a couple times a week. I have since moved on to taking pictures, this blog, and soon {hopefully} vlogging. I got the idea from my Grandpa. He can remember almost EVERYTHING from his past, and my Grandma's too. When her memory started to go, she would depend on him to know the answer. And he did. It was the sweetest thing. In case I have memory problems, I want my family to know things about my life, without having to dig through a bunch of stuff or ask a lot of people.
